Home Catalyst Review Process
Before your session, you’ll complete an intake form (covering home value, mortgage, insurance, and your priorities) to shape the review focus.
Our review covers seven specific areas: Stay-vs.-Move, Retirement & Tax Timing, Equity Use, Home Improvement & Insurance, Mortgage & Risk, Downsize Timing, Estate & Legacy.
Each area is mapped to your situation. After the session, you receive an actionable summary—top risks, opportunities, and your prioritized plan.

The Roadmap is designed to be the start of an annual housing review relationship, not a one-time transaction. Renewal updates your numbers, market changes, and position. Annual renewal: $349.

Through his actuarial and financial background, and data expertise, James sifted through nearly 200 different variables describing the near-800 neighborhoods in Broward and Palm Beach Counties, and identified the six factors that are most predictive of long-term neighborhood value.
This led James to discover roughly 65 under-valued neighborhoods in the two counties that cluster in four categories: Historic Charm; Mid-Century Modern; Golf Course Adjacent; and Waterfront Living.
Further, James analyzed actual sale prices in these areas and discovered there were two specific home improvements that, historically, have offered outsized returns in property value.
